Meet Dr. Hernandez, the Dentist filling in while Dr. Martin is on maternity leave

As many of our patients may know, Dr. Martin recently had her second child, and is taking a brief maternity leave. We are excited to announce that a much beloved local dentist is stepping out of retirement to fill in for Dr. Martin during this time.

Dr. David Hernandez, DDS, has lived in the Walla Walla Valley for 28 years, working as a dentist for 25 of those years. A graduate of the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, Dr. Hernandez worked as a professor at the school for 7 years upon finishing his residency. He then made the decision to go into private practice, and did so for 35 years. His dental style is gentle, collaborative, and supportive, much like Dr. Martin's. "I'm excited for the opportunity to have Dr. Hernandez fill in for me while I take my leave," mentioned Dr. Martin. "His compassionate and patient-centered approach to dentistry aligns well with my philosophy and I'm confident my patients will enjoy seeing him."

In his free time, Dr. Hernandez enjoys traveling with his wife of 45 years, spending time with his children and their spouses, and making memories with his two very active grandsons.
